Osler continues to transform health care for our growing communities—and we need your help. Your support of Osler Foundation will help increase capacity across our hospital system, provide investment in new technology and bring comprehensive cancer care services closer to home.
The need for care is great. Our communities are growing three times faster than provincial average, and it is projected the local seniors' population will see an 83% increase in the next eight years. On top of that, the need for mental health care has been compounded by the pandemic and the population we serve has greater-than-average risk of serious illness, including heart disease, kidney disease and diabetes. Within the next 20 years, one in two members of our community will be diagnosed with cancer.
Through it all, Osler hospitals are there to provide exceptional patient care, when you need it most. Now, as Osler continues to grow to meet the evolving need for quality care, we need your support more than ever.
All equipment in a hospital must be funded by the community, along with a portion of construction costs. Your support will help transform Peel Memorial into Brampton's new hospital; it will help bring expanded cancer care services to Brampton Civic; and it will help ensure Etobicoke General has the space and equipment required to continue providing the specialized care the community needs.
